This is Tom. He's our newest Senior Structural Engineer. You guessed it, he’s another one of those “I love bridge” guys.
As if a Bachelor of Engineering wasn’t enough, he’s also got himself a Masters of Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
He’s worked on some big jobs like the MacKays to Peka Peka Expressway, and completed a decent stint in Fiji undertaking bridge inspection and repairs (tough gig right? 🌴)
He’s hit the ground running here at Hoffcon, jumping straight into some super challenging data analysis work and he's even whipped together some fancy pythony codey stuff which has made all our lives easier.
So if you’re in the market for a whizz in structural analysis, design and assessment of liquid retaining structures (niche right?) or bridge design and assessment, we know a guy.
In a nutshell, he’s like Anton, but quite a bit better.
In his spare time, he’s literally a superhero, being a volunteer responder for the Wellington Emergency Response Team. When not saving lives, he has a keen interest in the most important insect in the entire animal kingdom – bees.
He’s got a couple months under his belt now at Hoffcon and keeps turning up with a smile, so we’ll assume he's enjoying himself. We're so lucky to have you Tom, thanks for choosing us.
