Hawaiki joined us fresh out of WelTec and the University of Canterbury following some hard mahi completing a Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree.
A typical day for Hawaiki is being knees deep in exploring and creating crane studies, construction methodologies, construction visualisations and 3D models.
Here's what the man himself has to say about working at Hoffcon:
"I hopped on the Hoffcon train because they're the construction whizzes who know how to crack the code on tricky challenges with lightning speed.
They're like the cool geeks of engineering and technology, making the construction world go chur!
Their commitment to working smarter, not harder, aligns with a kaupapa that I deeply believe in and know would greatly benefit our Māori and Pasifika communities.
Being part of the Hoffcon team allows me to actively contribute to our people's success and be a part of something truly awesome."
Hawaiki could have chosen to start his engineering
career anywhere his heart desired. We are so lucky that he chose us.
Unfortunately for Hawaiki, he's the youngest on the team so we all call him when we have questions about tok tok and book face.
