HUGE weekend ahead as the nation steels itself for the penultimate Hoffcon Rugby World Cup Super Bru Championship (HRWCSBC).
All of the hard work, training, mental and physical preparation has come down to this.
What’s on the line?
◾ Pride.
◾ Bragging rights.
◾ $130 smackers.
The weak have fallen to the wayside and only the strongest and fittest remain. The points table is so tight that any of these five players could take it all at the final whistle:
🏉 Dean Reid – he’s been the most accurate with his picks and margins. In true tall poppy form, he must be chopped down. We all know you picked France in that first game traitor. (56.16 points).
🏉 Sarah Farr – doing it for the girls. She’s taking this way too seriously and is actually being quite hurtful to others. Booked in with HR on Monday. (54.83 points).
🏉 Stephen Knox – Bless him, he thought for a minute there his mother nation of Ireland had a chance. Might actually know what he’s doing though as he’s steadily climbed the ladder. (53.00 points).
🏉 Anton Kivell – Was recently overheard asking why they do the “liney jumpy” and “scrummy pushy” thing. We suspect he’s been seeking outside counsel. (52.33 points).
🏉 Joshua Hoffman – His shoulders are sore from having to carry the Hoffman name. Could have been a different Hoffman in the top five if it were the “Bridge World Cup”, but alas. (52.33 points).
Who are you backing to win the HRWCSBC 2023?
