David is an engineer who specialises in complex engineering project delivery. The majority of his career has been in the delivery of large infrastructure projects with a variety of construction disciplines in Aotearoa, Australia, South Africa, Singapore and Indonesia.

More recently he has been involved in end-to-end project delivery from consenting to handover. This includes the setup of key controls for the management of construction and monitoring of construction productivity.

His experience gives him a great understanding of advanced construction methods and construction sequences across a range of construction disciplines. David can understand macro level drivers for a project and translate these to detailed construction methods where required. His skills allow him to structure this information into construction planning tools which aid design and construction planning.

David is also a leader in temporary works design for high-speed construction. He has been able to use these skills to save money on a range of projects. This is through innovative ideas which remove the need for expensive plant or speed up production saving significant amounts of money. David is able to match the design and method of temporary works to the available skills of the team or contractor base.
