We have an experienced team of Chartered Bridge Engineers that are able to take your design from your initial scribbles on an envelope, all the way through detailed design, consenting and overseeing construction.

Bridge assessment

Bridges can start to deteriorate, or be damaged, over time.

If you have a bridge that is looking a bit worse for wear, it might be worthwhile getting its condition assessed to understand if there is an urgent risk, and to get some assistance on maintaining it to get the most out of it.

This assessment is to NZTA requirements and can be for regular inspection requirements as part of maintenance regime or for insurance purposes. As part of this, we can also look at loading requirements and seismic capacity and give advice on current state of the structure.

Bridge maintenance

If your bridge needs some rectification work done to it, or the required capacity has changed over time we can propose and subsequently design strengthening needed to get it up to scratch and give you peace of mind.

As part of all of these steps we can come out and inspect and manage the quality aspects of this rectification or new bridge structural works as part of an MSQA package.
